Here is a great program for those of us who transcribe. An iTunes type interface that allows you to adjust the tempo and/or pitch and to also set up loops that will repeat over and over until you get it right.

Saving Youtube movies so that you do not have to have internet access to show your class
go to www.savetube.com copy the Youtube movie's URL which is located on the righthand side of the web page that plays your Youtube video

Savetube saves the video as a flv (flash video file)

Convert your flash video files (flv) to any other format you choose by using the shareware program Super which can be downloaded at www.erightsoft.com

Hi Everyone!

Here are some links to information about using a Wiimote and a data projector to create your very own Interactive Whiteboard for little more that $1500, as discussed in the Qld session today. All you need is a laptop (with bluetooth), data projection, a normal classroom whiteboard, a Wiimote, an IR Pen and a bit of software. What a great idea!
